These are our times of worship and Bible study.

Daily Devotionals

10 AM

We offer a daily online devotional class providing more in-depth knowledge of our bible so we can experience the love of Jesus Christ. Call our office for the Zoom ID Meeting Number to join us – (804) 746-5081.

Sunday Worship

10:15 AM

We have a wonderful blend of contemporary songs along with beautiful and powerful hymns. The sermons are biblically based teachings showing us how to live as God wants us to. You will feel welcomed when you come.

Bible Studies

While in Phase 2 we are not holding our in person studies

We look forward to coming together to share with others as we delve into the bible and all of God’s teachings once Phase 3 is initiated.

WGBC is a recovery resource for our community.

NorthStar Community

Fridays 6:30 PM in the gym – Wednesdays at 6:30 – Sundays at 11:15 in Sanctuary

We all have hurts, hang ups and habits. We are a supportive and connected community of people who believe in the loving grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. Whether you are recovering from substance abuse, unhealthy relationships, or other destructive behaviors, we are here for you. Call (804) 746-5081.

Divorce Recovery

We are a safe harbor for healing. WGBC has been offering our Divorce recovery workshop for over 15 years. A highly supportive and interactive small group that is here to help us recover and move on with our lives.

Grief Support

Learning to say hello to life again. We are here to support people who have lost loved ones. Once Phase 3 is started we will restart our grief support lunchtime meetings.

Community

These are ways we show Christ’s love to our community.

English as a Second Language

We are here for our brothers and sisters who are new to our community. Our ESL classes prepare students to become citizens of the USA.

Family Life

Parents, we are here for you. We have weekly Sunday school classes, monthly gatherings, and summer missions opportunities. Our families are the future, and we are here to help grow each and every child.

Since its origin in 1841, Walnut Grove has always been a place to worship together regardless of color, age, political position, gender, or sexual orientation.

Jesus never even considered social barriers when interacting with people – He just loved them. He accepted everyone exactly how they were, but He loved them enough to want them to change for the better.

Walnut Grove’s history is full of that kind of love.
